Considering having permanent makeup done?

Here are a few Permanent Makeup frequently asked questions.

1. WHY HAVE PERMANENT MAKEUP DONE?

Well… WHY NOT!? Haven’t you been dreaming about a “wash and wear face” your whole life long? Waking up with brows on fleek? It is possible with Permanent Makeup! There are so many reasons to have permanent makeup done, but to just name a few: It’s convenient; it saves time; it saves money and you will always look great.

2. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?

First, we will talk about your expectations, questions, and concerns. Then, you will need to fill out some paperwork. Before and after photos will be taken. Unfortunately, this is not negotiable as we need it as part of your record. But don’t worry, we keep them completely private. The procedure itself will take about 2 hours.

3. DOES IT FADE?

Yes, to some extent it does fade. It depends on things like the pH and oiliness of your skin and some other environmental factors such as the sun. In order to keep the fading to a minimum, we require all clients to book a follow-up touch-up treatment with us.

4. IS IT SAFE?

Yes. This process is completely safe. However, no procedure is ever without risks such as allergic reaction. We will discuss the risks of the procedure in detail with you at your time of appointment. We are very professional and highly trained, so no stress.

5. DOES IT HURT?

The experience is different for every individual. Most clients do report the procedure as mild discomfort to very tolerable. The numbing creams and gels are used before as well as during the treatment.

6. WILL I SWELL UP?

Yes, you may. You can expect mild pain and swelling afterwards. In some cases, we have seen absolutely no swelling or pain. So once again, it is different for each individual. Swelling should go down within a few hours.
If there are any other questions or something you’re concerned about, please feel free to give us a call or book a free consultation. We would love to meet you and give you that “wash and wear face” you’ve been wanting all your life.
